Been looking on line at Boll and Branch, Brooklinen etc. what are some nice, well made sheet sets that are worth the money?  I ordered a couple sets off of Amazon last year that were well rated but they were pretty crappy when I got them, thin, seams came apart after a few washes, just not happy with them, looking for something nice, well made and comfy.

I ordered some bamboo sheets off some website. They are so soft and have her up well. The site just popped up on Facebook. The only other place would be online Dillards.

We ended up getting a hotel style 500 thread count Egyptian cotton at wallies last year, very soft and comfortable. And a very reasonable price.

I got a set of better homes & garden sheet sets from wal mart a few years back. They have held up great and are soft. The more you wash them the better they get.

I bought a bamboo set off Amazon that I really like. I believe they are really great for allergies & some other stuff I can't remember lol. There's a ton of different brands, but I just got a cheaper ($26) set to start.

We have a set of Cannon sheets that I love - soft, comfy and no pilling. We've had them for five or six years and they are holding up great. We do change our sheets every week and have a few sets in rotation, so these get used maybe one or two weeks a month. Sears carries the 500 thread count.

I got a set of 1000 ct egyptian cotton from Overstock.com a couple of months ago and love them.  They are heavy and thick but very soft.  I did pay around $90 for a queen size but they are going to last forever.

I go to Bed, Bath & Beyond...I don't know what brand they are, but they had them on sale and they are really soft and really nice. I like flannel sheets, though, but I live in Montana so I like to be warm...I sleep in flannel sheets year round. But I was really pleased with them!

As a total bed sheet snob.... I really like JC Penney's Royal Velvet wrinkle free sheets. The 500 count are very soft and hold up well. And I am usually able to catch them on sale or have a coupon.

For our guest beds I buy the micro-fiber sheets from Steinmart and folks rave about how soft they are. They are not as thick, but hold up well for guest use. I think I paid $20 for queen a few months back. Folks think they are those super fancy very expensive sheets..... Since they are only $20 there is no heartburn if they get stained -- I just toss and replace. I do invest in really nice mattress pad covers for all beds - they up the feeling of a super nice comfy bed.

I second this and at Bed, Bath and Beyond - use one of their 20% off coupons.

My thoughts EXACTLY!  I was so skeptical.  We bought them because of the color and they were on sale--thank goodness we tried them; I need more!!

Agree with you on the topper. We need to get one for the guest room. Can't sleep without the one on our main bed!!

I jUst bought my third pair of the Better Homes and Garden. First, I bought a set from Belk that were $189.00 and on sale for $129.00. I have issues with my fitted sheet not staying in place, and these expensive ones were guaranteed to not move. What a joke. I managed to get them back in the packaging, retuned them and headed to Wally World. BH&G sheets now have a wide band of elastic that helps keep it more in place. Also, they are even softer than the set I bought last year. I think they were $49.99.

Thanks for all the ideas!  I love my flannel sheets I got on sale at Target but we live in south Louisiana which means we use them about three weeks total all year long.  Never thought of Bamboo, may give those a try.  I am way too picky about sheets and socks, bugs the crap out of me if they aren't just right.
