Location: Alberta		What can you guys tell me about the splash gene? Is it possible to have this gene in a full blood quarter horse?
Understanding colour genes is not my strong suit and have read a bit about it but was hoping to have it explained in layman's terms! Lol

The reining horse Gunner (Colonels Smokingun) had this and in an interview on tv once the guy said that both parents together did not have half the white that he had.
