Psalm 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
The moment you ask Jesus to be Yôur Lord and Savior, you might expect to have some choir of angels to come down and to feel happier. But you probably won't feel anything. But in weeks that follows, you will start being aware of His comforting and guiding grace. We all go through times when our spirit is flayed and beaten. It's even harder because we don't feel Jesus is there. Those are times we need to cling to the knowledge that Jesus is close to the brokenhearted. Don't give up! KEEP HOPE! Write down Psalm 34:18 remind yourself daily. It will help you trust in the Word of God where He promises to be with you when you are brokenhearted, even if you can't feel Him. God NEVER breaks His promises. For it is WITH God all things are possible. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You Amen
