Location: Texas | My trailer is in the process of being repaired (my dad is fixing the lights, but he is slow at everything so this could be a few weeks), so I'm stuck riding at home. What are some exercises you guys do in a round pen or just in a small space that won't bore a horse? We don't have a ton of room, and where we do have room there are trees.

Location: Oklahoma | If the area is flat where you have trees you can have your horse lope circles around the tree. If the round pen is your only place you can work on roll backs, figure 8's, trot, long trot, lope etc.

Location: Pacific Northwest | Ground pole exercises! Trot poles, lope overs, etc. When my horse gets comfortable I raise the poles a little.
Also when confined to a round pen is usually when I strictly work on the "fine tuning". Lots of making sure they can do everything completely correct, collected, straight, etc. I work on laterals, stopping, backing, sidepassing, pivots, etc. Things that I might usually just skim over when I warm up.
