Our world offers endless choices. There are a multitude of dark paths to walk down, but only one that truly offers light. When we choose to walk with Jesus, the light of the world that casts away darkness, He will provide the illumination we need to make each day's choice.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He is the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ. His Son cleanses us from all sin.
At times you may be tempted to take a detour into darkness. It may not appear to make a big difference. Satan can convince you that doing something " just this once" will be no real consequences. He tricked Adam and Eve that way in the Garden of Eden when he offered the, fruit from the one tree that God had declared forbidden.
Sometimes choices that the world offers you can be appealing. But anything that has the potential to hinder your walk with Christ is dangerous.
How do we stay in the light? We ask the Holy Spirit to guide us. And whn we ge an uneasy feeling regarding a choice, we pay attention to it. It may be hard to say no, but the payoff for obedience will be great.
For it is WITH God ALL things ARE Possible
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to You. Father of light, HELP me to be sensitive to Yôur Holy Spirit. Shine Yôur light into my life Amen
