Location: Canada | Check the stats on the horse. Ask who they got he horse from and check those stats and look for videos. If it's registered pull up previous owners and stats.
Videos that start as the horse is already in the gate may mean the horse has alley issues they're hiding. So make sure the videos show from start to finish.
They should have videos of the runs and be able to show multiple different arenas.
Watch the video lots and be very critical. Watch the rider only then watch the horse only then watch them together. If the rider doesn't have a similar style to you it may not work out so don't buy something without trying it if the rider who is having success is different.
Vet check!! If you're concerned pull blood work to check for drugs.
Check FB and do a search for their name swe if there are multiple horses listed for sale. Multiple horses doesn't mean anything bad but it is cause to dig deeper.
You can ask for references. Someone to give you unpracticed information on the horse.
Best of luck. |

Location: Durango CO | I stalk ppl. A lot lol. I research owners, previous owners, stats, any pics the owner is tagged in. And if it all checks out on a positive note, i will theb have a long thought on how much risk I am willing to assume. Then sleep on it a day or 2. Then decide from my gut deep down. |

You need to start a new thread and have South Carolina BB's in it so you can catch their attention, good luck with your search. |
