I am looking for some long weekend getaway ideas for couples. We are doing Vegas in December so we can scratch that off the list. Perhaps Boston or maybe Charleston? Any other ideas or hidden gems? Or things to do while there. We would be flying out from Ontario or New York. Thank you!

nashville tn downtown is cool or stay at the opry hotel. the trolly ride around downtown is full of fun info and then go back to where you want to check out. Lexington ky. take tours of the grand old farms. check out the ky bourbon trail. for a quiet or golf getaway try a little known place called french lick/west baden indiana (you can fly into indy or louisville and rent a car to finish off the trip) I recomend staying at the west baden dome hotel with the spa services. check out the grounds. play the pete dye golf course or check out the french lick hotel and casino. Very 1920s feel. there is also a passenger trian excursion.

We have done Nashville already so not looking to go back quite yet. Neither of us play golf so we wont be doing that either!! Keep the ideas coming, they've been great so far!

Savannah GA and you could drive down to Jekyll Island - to me the island was more fun than Savannah but we arent into night life. The island has electric cars you can rent and drive all over, we stayed at the Hampton Inn and it was reasonable beachfront. We stayed at the hotel across the river in Savannah and rode the ferry back and forth and that was fun.
