| I'm still battling with thrush in front feet, I don't get it, excellent dry turn out, good feed, I've been using that purple thrushbuster, tried koppertox, and did a little bleach...it was good for a bit but now it's back. So I just ordered dry cow. Question is I ordered the 12 pack syringes, so how many and how often do you apply this stuff? I can't find any reviews on it. |

| Thank you...this is a start..I was told I should see it clear up in 4 or 5 days, I sure hope so cause now her frog or heel has a crack in it I can get the hoof pick into and move it :( Worries me |

Location: Florida.. | you have to be extremly careful with bleach.. it will eat the healthy tissue right up and add more issues.. basically eat it up.. |

Location: Tennessee | Vet recommended we use Tomorrow which I think is basically the same thing. I treated every day as much as I could squirt in the cracks. He's a pony with a small foot, so it didn't take much. Cleared it right up in about 4 days when Coppertox hadn't helped previously. I'll never use stinky Coppertox again, this was so much easier and less stinky :-) |

| Okay I was in your boat. Here was my routine:
I got betaiodine (you can get the spray in the horse section for $14 or go to the cattle section and get a big jug for $25ish at TSC). Apply to hoof and scrub with a brush. You can literally see what has been eaten once you srub it clean its crazy. Scrub it good and hard removing everything. You can use pure alcohol as a "wash" or just water and then a toweled dry (I worked on clean brushed off mats). Next a got the Tomorrow and squirted in every crack and cervis which was super easy to see after scrubbing bc you could see where the thrush had "ate". I then pulled apart cotton balls and hard packed them into the areas as much as I could pack as tight and as small. I didn't wrap or anything just turned back out and what cotton stayed stayed and what didn't go well but I packed firmly and pushed with a sharp not normal hoof pick to get them to pack. I left them in 3 days and BOOM gone and it started re-growing.
I had been battling thrush forever. I still caught him am and pm to pick out the feet and a applied kopertonix to the bottoms maybe twice after that and his feet are clean as a whistle now.
ETA: I painted the tomorrow or today which you use on like paint to the whole bottom for fear of white line or another fungus creeping up an under the shoe plus I've heard the thrush can live and hide an under the shoe and I wanted that crap dead dead so I painted and packed with cotton. Circulation is one important factor on helping thrush clear up so let them get out and move.

Location: Deep South | When I use the dry cow (Tomorrow) I put the syringe down in there as far as it will go. I squeeze it until it starts squishing out. It will be different for each foot, depending on the severity of the thrush.
Every other day for 4 treatments. It will be gone. |

Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | My paint has HORRIBLE feet. Got a real bad case of thrush this past fall and the dry cow helped him so much! i used half a tube per day and used it everyday for a week. i then started him on DAC foundation formula and his overall hoof health has improved drastically! i wouldnt use bleach anymore, it will kill the good and bad bacteria. Listerine soaking also helped for me as well. Good luck! I know its frustrating. |

Stick the tube down in that crack and fill it up!! That's where the thrush is thriving.  |
