Sometimes it take a full cycle of hair growth and a complete shedding to see true final results, I've got one that we thought may not turn out but as the summer and fall passed it is looking better. I'm thinking it won't look bad at all after his spring shed.

My mare is a wooly mammoth at the money and you can't tell if the brand is right side up or not. When she sheds it'll be perfect again. Got her done about 7 years ago. It always looks like a white blob when her hair is long. If I take her to a roping in the winter I shave her shoulder where the brand is just in case someone takes her it'll be better visible. (can't trust anyone nowadays...
