Location: Missouri | Thank you..each and every one of you who voted and shared my daughter's entry in the Queens In Jeans Model Makeover contest. They announced results last night and this morning. She made the top 5 (out of 53 contestants)..this was last night's announcement, and finished 5th overall (just announced)! Very proud of her for putting herself out there and doing this. This was such a neat format for a contest..it was a mix between popular vote (to show the girls' marketing and drive in getting those votes), sharing and thanking of sponsors' videos on social media (learning to tag, timeliness, writing, gratitude), and of course photogenics. Definitely a learning experience (and yes - she is getting some fabulous prizes as well!). She will be receiving gift certificates from top designers of rodeo queen clothing, jeans from Wrangler, and a voucher for another personal development clinic. Thank you, THANK YOU!!  |

Very! I know I would be pretty apprehensive putting myself out there like that. To have that girl's confidence - but I thank rodeo and queening for that confidence, too! She picked up some great social media tips and tricks that will serve her well as she continues to promote her title and brand herself. And jeans...goodness I'm excited she will be getting jeans!! |

As her social media marketing director, you played a huge part getting her into that top 10, and I can't thank you enough. She did a great job sharing the sponsor videos, tagging appropriately, adding personal notes to her post. That alone is invaluable experience in today's world. Now we can get back to concentrating on rodeos and college summer program apps and work and and and LOL

Every little thing that she does like this just contributes to her future - from resume bullet points to scholarship and college apps to having the personal contacts with national level business people! Not to mention that I think she's gorgeous and a heck of a kid, so love seeing her out there  |
