I am looking at purchasing a new saddle for my filly. I am leaning towards a Double J Pozzi Wide or a Double J Pro Wide. My filly is really broad and has a flat back. I've never sat in either one but I have heard the seat sizes run a little different. I usually ride in a 14 so I don't know if I should be looking at a 14 or possibly go with a 13.5. HELP!!!! TIA

Pozzi's run smaller than Pro's. I was told if I run in a 15 in a pro I would need a 16 in a pozzi and that was by a dealer.

I have a Double J LM Wide 15 and my seat feels bigger than my other saddle that is also 15. The cantle on my LM is a lot different which is why it feels bigger. I like how it feels better than the other one, which I never ride in anymore

That's interesting. I've got 2 and feel like the seat sizes run a bit big. I bought my normal size, and wish I would have sized down.

I ride in a JJ Pro and the seat runs big. Definitely go a 1/2 size seat smaller (depending on what you like) than what you'd normally ride in.

I have found that Pozzi's run 1/2 inch bigger that most other barrel saddles, and pro racers run 1 inch bigger than most. The difference is in the leg openings, the seats measure true to size but have wider leg openings than most saddles making them "feel" bigger. I ride a 14' in almost everything, a 13.5" in pozzi and a 13" pro racer. Hope that helps :)
