| Anyone use EquiShure For Hind Gut Issues?
Experiences?
How do you use it? Every day or just during race time?
I'm thinking about trying it for one of my horses. |

| It's great, I use it for any gut issue. I use it to heal ulcers, to prevent ulcers, going off feed, colic, sickness, etc. by dosing it 1-2 times a week, and I use it every day they are hauled and run. I use it pre-race to calm the stomach and nerves. I use so much of it I became a dealer :) There was another thread about it not too long ago, might search for b it |

| Are you meaning Equishure or Equi-sure? There are two products out there with similar names.
They are not even close when it comes to ingredients.
I have used Equi-sure and love it! I swear by it. I use it to heal ulcers and maintain a healthy digestive system in my horses. I use even if I don't think they have any issues as a preventive and to keep them eating and drinking no matter the environment. |

| I have tried them all and I do mean ALL usually they all will work for a little while and then go back to same problems - won't eat paces tight faced worried adgitated etc etc etc. I have been through it all with my boy - finally after years of spending a fortune in suppose and doing everything to make life as stress free as possible I decided it had to be from commercial feeds that I couldn't get the ulcer issue totally taken care of- I have done a ton of research on ulcers but I came across dr deapolo from " horse hair analysis" he has several articles online he says no soy no corn no oats no molasses no wheat middlings and nothing with aluminum- so I do renew gold alfalfa pellets and shredded beet pulp molasses free mixed with aloe Vera juice and it is AMAZING the difference!- I just had surgery on him last week he had to stay overnight at hospital and he's in confinement right now all of this made me just cringe at what he was going to put me through BUT he never missed a meal he's happy content and I am so very thankful for the knowledge dr deapolo out on the internet for all to read- no ulcer supps! |

| I used equisure on my boy for the first time this weekend. Call me crazy but I noticed a big difference how he was acting at the race. He was a lot calmer and his manure was normal!!! (not loose). I will for sure keep using it on him! |

When did you give it to him - before loading, before saddling? |

| I do 10cc before I load on the trailer, if he draws up in a performance he gets another 10cc as I tack up. |

| Thanks for the replies.
I am asking about EquiShure by Kentucky Equine Research - not Equisure.
I have a horse that I suspect has hind gut issues and wanted to try the EquiShure. |

| I am having the same problem with my mare. I called the people at KER and they recommended Rite Trac to start with. I am looking for someone as well that has actually tried it since it is a little spendy. |

Location: IL | I like Equishure thru KER, but it will not heal up gastric ulcers with out gastro guard. My horses did look and feel better though. I will say that Excel by Depaolo Equine it the best and it's less expensive. I will never go without Excel again |
