Noticed my little mare had a teeny tiny spot in her eye tonight. Her eyes waters some but she has it completely open. Ive had a mare in the past get an ulcer a little larger and ended up putting a lavage and weeks of drops. I guess my question is should I be more concerned that this may turn into a bigger ulcer or do you think it could possibly heal on its own beings it so small?

When in doubt, go get it checked out.

No one can possibly give you sound advice on the internet without seeing your horse.

ESPECIALLY when it has to do with eyes. Things can escalate so very quickly.

I try to handle a lot of things by myself but not eyes. Things can go south fast.  I get to the vet ASAP.
