Cheaper to build one bathroom with each stall having a toilet and urinal. And one or two family bathrooms. I don't see why this should be political. |

Location: Cocoa, Florida | I would hold it forever before I would ever use a restroom in Walmart for both men and women. Men are disgusting enough as it is (and the women's restroom can be as well). Plus with all the perverts, I wouldn't take my 4 year old daughter in there. Would just make for an uncomfortable experience. I wouldn't use wal mart restroom if I'm desperate.

Family restrooms are a little different. One large restroom with a toilet and urinal and change station. This is for people with multiple children and maybe a large stroller. Just makes it easy for parents to change kids, wash their hands, get them using the toilet without being disruptive to others. |

Oh I understand that, but if a transgender is in pickle they can use this for the same reason (not being disruptive to others). I would prefer them to use this so I don't have to run into a guy in woman's clothes in the ladies room. I know, I am not p.c. here but I am getting so tired of all the p.c. crap we have been going through. And I feel for the true transgender, but it has opened up so many doors for creeps and perverts that I feel we need to protect the majority!
It's like everything, you can never please everybody, but when it comes to the safety of people I think we can hurt a couple of sensitive feelings here....

And it is absolutely ridiculous to let schools allow kids to use the bathroom of their gender choice. These kids have been offered to use a private bathroom so they are not subject to harassment. Talk about inviting more issues to deal with in our already failing school system. |

I work in a high school. Several of the boys have made comments to each other of "if I say I identify with females can I go in their locker room"? They say it jokingly, but it's something that could honestly be an issue. |

Yes, more BS put out by MSNBC, lol. I saw Rachel Maddow say that "Put America First" is code for an organization that came together to oppose our involvement in WWII. They were accused of being anti semantic because they opposed the war. The group quickly faded away after Pearl Harbor. For it to be code to his voters, the general population would have to know about this 1940's group and who as ever heard of it? I had to google it. More propaganda trying to paint this country as racists and in doing so they cause more damage and division like we have never seen before. |

Our Walmart and HEB (grocery store) has a family bathroom so they were already ahead of this.

Yes, I understand the historical accuracy but I 100% disagree that Trump is using that phrase as a racist code. You missed my whole point that for people to get "the code" they have to be familiar with the history of this group and I bet it is safe to say most of the general population is not. For a "code" to work both the sender and receiver have to understand it. Trump uses America First in the same context as buy American made products, take care of vets, American jobs. Saying this is disturbing and "code" is pure propaganda and meant to feed the fury of the liberal base, divide and cause chaos. To say that anyone who wants to put their own country first is speaking code for being a racist is absolutely ridiculous. It is might be that some want to fix our problems here at home first.

There are just as many heterosexual predators as same-sex predators. So in reality, it shouldn't increase crimes from "perverts." I personally am not comfortable with it but there are several other things I am not comfortable with. That's life... the stalls have a door for your privacy. If you have grandkids that are too young where you are not comfortable, go with them. I don't let my nieces or nephews into a public restroom without me. |

There are just as many heterosexual predators as same-sex predators. So in reality, it shouldn't increase crimes from "perverts." I know as a young girl I would have been horrified if a man had come into the bathroom with me even though were stalls. If I had to share a locker room with a young man that was claiming he was a transgender female, I would have quit athletics. In 7th and 8th grade, heck even in high school, most of us were not comfortable enough with our bodies to deal with a transgender.

Two weeks later Joan Rivers was dead under very strange circumstances. Also watch a YouTube called "Irrefutable Proof that Michelle Obama is a Man." It's a real eye opener. Even if you find it ridiculous, it's fun to watch.
I have heard this too about Michelle and theres more then a few actress that are transgender, I had to google one because I didnt believe it by just looking at her so had to see for my self..

There are just as many heterosexual predators as same-sex predators. So in reality, it shouldn't increase crimes from "perverts." I personally am not comfortable with it but there are several other things I am not comfortable with. That's life... the stalls have a door for your privacy. If you have grandkids that are too young where you are not comfortable, go with them. I don't let my nieces or nephews into a public restroom without me. I know as a young girl I would have been horrified if a man had come into the bathroom with me even though were stalls. If I had to share a locker room with a young man that was claiming he was a transgender female, I would have quit athletics. In 7th and 8th grade, heck even in high school, most of us were not comfortable enough with our bodies to deal with a transgender.
I'm with you GLP, if I had to share locker rooms/bathroon with someone that was a dude but was claiming it was female I would have been so out of there. We were brought up that this is not right.
And in Reality Stayceem, I can see the crimes going up!!! And I am not going to go into the same restroom with men in there even if there is stalls with doors, thats just so creepy.. |

Our Wally World has 2 sets of bathrooms and there is one in the back of the store that very few people use and it's always clean. When you have bladder issues, you do what you have to do. I will say...the restrooms here in Texas are usually disgusting and I would rather go behind a bush to pee then use any of them. |

| The whole issue is nuts!!! the medical community defines transgender as a mental disorder with the only known cure is reassignment surgery which many insurance company's recognize. Really the only cure? No where in the Constitution does it give the federal government the right to intervene in who uses which bath room period. States may choose to thru the health codes if and only if they pass codes that say that. How they would do that is beyond me because your DNA does not change because some Doctor adds our subtracts some body parts. So are we to change all the signs to Women/Surgically altered and Men/Surgically altered? As I said the issue is nuts!!! My solution get rid of all public bath rooms and just have a bunch of port a potty's in the parking lot than everyone can have there own personal toilet problem solved. Ya I know people will ***** about that too. But it would be far cheaper than the billions of dollars needed to accommodate less than 1% of the population. Just keep in mind that the term transgender was first used in 1949 to define a mental disorder and the supposed man made cure in the 1960's until than there was no such thing. JUST NUTS!!!! Never thought a public bathroom as a safe haven, lol in my owm home yes. Now if the restroom is for all to use {men & women} thats ok with me IF its a single restroom for one person at a time to use and you can lock the door so nobody can just walk in. Those dont bother me at all I perfer those over a restroom that has multiple stalls.  |

Thats just so creepy that someone would do that, I know it happens here too. Once my granddaughter was ahead of me going into a restroom at Wal-Mart and a man was going into the mens when he saw her he turned like he was going to follow her into the womens then he saw me coming and turned back to the mens, I watched him and as soon as he thought I was in the restroom he turned around and walked very fast away from the restrooms and this was the restrooms in back of Wal-Mart, Sterling did her thing and we got the heck outa there and I went and reported it to the manager, but since the restrooms were so far in the back it took me awhile to get to the front of the store so I could report this mess. |

I'm not pointing the finger at anyone in particular but I'm incredibly observant and I'm ALWAYS amazed at the little kids in the bathroom by themselves locally. The outrage on this particular subject is just ridiculous and I maintain that it served as a distraction for the Obama administration. Now it's back in the spotlight bc Trump gave power back to states via EO. The liberal lunatics are freaking and need yet ANOTHER social issue to be up in arms about. Transgender people have been using bathroom of choice for a long time this only opens the "possibility" of someone using it for twisted perversion. The "possibility" already exists based on most set ups of public restrooms so I don't let that sway me. Simple answer, instead of male/female restrooms make individu toilet closets/dressing rooms fully enclosed and lockable. |

While I have seen reports of men taking pictures of women in a rest room or dressing room, what I have not seen are reports of a transgender male doing this or attacking women in restrooms. |

Tall, angular, five o'clock shadow, wig, mini-skirt, pirate-style blouses and high heels. He always used the ladies restroom. Since it was beside the reception desk we were all alerted if he/she was in there.

Family restrooms are a little different. One large restroom with a toilet and urinal and change station. This is for people with multiple children and maybe a large stroller. Just makes it easy for parents to change kids, wash their hands, get them using the toilet without being disruptive to others.
In our local Target store, seems like the family restrooms are for the employees to hang out in while I wait outside with a toddler in the shopping cart. Every. Stinkin. Time. |
