Scam email? Curious why you are getting rich all of a sudden and how I could replicate your sweet moves. |

| I wonder just how many people fail for these emails. There has to be some that do or they wouldn't be sending them out. Curious |

Location: 31 lengths farms | I got lucky -almost- about 10 years ago. We had a mule for sale online. A guy from South Africa sent me an email stating he had "endeavored to purchase a male mule" but the sale had fallen thru. That mule he was going to purchase for the sum of $10,000, our mule we had advertised for $3500. He would forward the check for 10K to me, I could cash it for the 10K, keep 4500 for my trouble and then send a check back to him for 5500 and he'd make arrangements to pick up the mule, LOL!!! |

| This was not an email. It was a letter. I had to go to the post office to mail some stuff so I just dropped it off with them. Serious mail fraud! Funny part is the guy's name was Dun Yu. The teachers on my hall got a serious laugh out of that. I am sure he got my information somewhere off the Internet and saw I was an older person and said "Why not?"

The amount of people that fall for scam emails would probably shock you. |

Like I said, they probably got information off the internet somewhere and saw I was old. Old people are good targets. |

Location: Windoming | My 90 year old mother got sucked into a scam. Two perfect strangers (legit ones) sent her checks totaling $15,000 so she could pay the taxes on money she'd won (by not entering anything). Fortunately, she let me know she had come into some money, before she cashed the checks! The checks were legit, I called the people who sent them. They were personal checks. Same thing, they were supposed to send money to mom to get their prize money! All people over 70. When I told my mom, scammers prey on older people, she retorted, "They don't know how old I am!" I told her how easy it was to find out how old anyone is. So glad she told me about it!' Now I have a friend that I am positive is being catfished, but I can't convince her of it. She believes the guy. Glad she told me about it tho. |

| You can do a FREE search of any person and when the names come up their are ages out beside the names wo you can identify which person you are looking for. I think you would be surprised if you did a search on yourself. |

You used to be able to do that on "white pages" is that where you still can? I miss that site because that's where I used to ALWAYS go for people's addresses for birthday cards and such and now they charge you. |

I just googled my name and Beckville Tx and it came right up. I like to go to the pervert site and see who is on that. That will surprise you!!!! My favorite is the guy who molested three teenage girls (convicted of FEDERAL charges) that comes to all the barrel races. Comforting thought huh? |

Do you find something a little wrong with that? The guy HAD a PRCA rodeo act. He likes young girls and I guess that is one of the very perks of being OLD. |

| I just got one from a person that said they got my info from BHW and asked if I had a young mare for sale. I thought it might be legit. But the response from them was broken English about starting a horse ranch and sending payment and pick-up information. They're getting more creative. Had another one say they were looking for a horse for their daughter-in-law. Same deal, sending a check and setting up pick-up info.
At least I know they're getting my emails because I'm getting a response! I just had someone request additional videos, got them sent, and they haven't even watched them. What's the point! Scammers and buyers are driving me crazy! I've had more people disappear in the last few months than I ever have. |

| My husband is a truck driver, so he stays in a lot of hotels. He told me he received a phone call on his room phone at 230 am, they said it was the front desk calling and their system crashed and for insurance purposes they needed his credit card # he had used to reserve the room... well, he was half asleep and gave them the card # then they asked for the 3 digit security code, he finally woke up and told then to hold on, he phoned the front desk from his cell phone and asked if they were calling people and requesting credit cards they told him no and to hang up on the people immediately! We had to cancel that credit card! Crazy scammers out there... |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Had a guy text me at 3am about a truck I had for sale. We had an interesting back and forth about how transparent it was that he was just some scammer sitting in an Internet cafe in Nigeria. My city and state were in the ad. I told him he really should google the current time of day in the intended victim's location if he expected to be taken seriously. The guy actually tried defending himself. Luckily, I was working a night shift and had time to mess with him. It made the night go by.
