Hi everyone, I know this is such a minor problem but it is really bothering me. My horse stepped on his tail while playing in the paddock and ripped half of it out. Half of his tail is still the length it was previously and the other half is about 18 inches shorter. It was not previously touching the ground, was still about 3 inches off. Anyways, does anyone have any tips/tricks to get it grow faster? It looks so gross and thin and I'm just really gutted. Has anyone tried Biomane? MTG? Thanks

I use MTG in the summer months. Too cold to play with in winter. But I douse the tailbone really well and kind of massage it in and work it down into the rest of the hair. Then braid it and bag it. I noticed a huge difference the first month with approximate growth of two inches. It dwindled a bit after that, but I didn't keep up with reapplication. Good luck.

I've used MTG with success but careful, my horse was allergic and have heard of others losing rather then growing.
Hoof Maker as a leave in condition, also leaves your hands smooth after applying.
Biotin suppliment.
Friends have told me ground flax seed
DON'T brush it!
