Location: Dubach, LA | The mare who I love most in the world has extremely bad COPD. With our mild winter and early spring, her coughing has already started. I guess I'm looking for suggestions for a good home for her in a place without the heat and humidity of Louisiana. This would be a free to perfect home kind of thing. Does anyone know anyone? |

Location: North Central Iowa Land of white frozen grass | With the humidity in Iowa I don't think this is the place for her. Sorry. We are problably just as bad as Louisiana. |

| For what it's worth, I'm in ND and have a horse with terrible COPD. While humidity would not make his life any easier, he does still struggle even in our northern climate. Hope your mare finds a better climate! |

Agree. It's not too bad here in kansas unless we get some rain, then it will be humid. |

| Eastern Kansas tends to be more humid. I am in SW Kansas, and the problem in our area is that it is dry and windy, which means lots of dust in the air. I have a mare with a breathing issue, and she is fine just out in the pasture, but managing her to run her was difficult. |
