It seems like i am always asking for prayers, but this family really needs them. A few months ago, i asked for prayers for Rick's twin daughters. It turns out that the little girl was having migraines - at age 6! She was having seizures, along with her twin - so medication has helped that. But now.........this family is being tested again on their faith. Lila, my sister and Rick & Robin's Mom, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. How can this possibly happen.........Robin died from Leukemia, Rick from kidney cancer, less than 5 years apart......and now, their Mom has been diagnosed. She passed out at work last wk, her heart beats were 16 per minute (s/b about 80) during all this testing, they found the cancer. We don't know much yet, but will find out next Friday, same day my Grandson has surgery on his knee. PLEASE keep Lila in your prayers, and her family! i can't believe this is happening, but we trust in God to help her and us get thru it. Lila and Jim are strong Christians and lean on their Faith to overcome all of this tragedy in their family - - they are a sweet couple who still hold hands and Jim refills her coffee cup/brings her flowers for no special reason. They would have had their 50 wedding anniversary just two days after Rick's death - but Lila thru all the decorations away. Said she just couldn't look at them and think about celebrating when they were hurting so bad. So..........please pray for them........Thanks, guys
