I had one on my Crown C and it was in between a suede seat and a gator seat. It wasn't super slippery and I didn't have any issues with it as my seat jockey was roughout.

I thought my saddle that had a gator seat was too slippery to run in.

Slick as snot at first if you're going from suede to elephant. I had a "sticky stick" (that's what we called them, English folks may know the actual name, there are several brands, looks like a glue stick, it's a glycerin product so it won't hurt leather or jeans etc) that I used until I got use to it.

Once I got use to it, no issues. I had an ostrich seat as well in a double j, the saddles rode so different I couldn't really tell you if I felt like one was more slippery. The elephant was tougher by far.

I have a bicycle elephant seat....not my choice but i got the saddle used. rough out jockeys and fenders so I don't notice it anymore. at first there was a tad getting used to but I also have a bigger seat size now too. but lately I've been golden!

I have a crown c with a full elephant seat and I will never order any other seat type again. It isn't slippery like gator or ostrich. It actually does have grip to it. Not as much as suede but I don't like being glued in, so it works perfect for me. I highly recommend it.

I have a Lisa Lockhart saddle that has faux elephant seat. Haven't noticed an issue.
