Thank you dick Goddard for our new animal protection law!!!! Finally the ax comes down and puts this not so smart 19year old female behind bars:)))))) Edited because I forgot to say it happened in Cleveland Ohio.The 19 year old threw the puppy on the ground and killed it.

People are sick. I just read today about a puppy found zipped up in a suitcase in a lake. It was determined that the pup was alive when it entered the water. :( horrid people.

Dick Goddard was a Cleveland weatherman and a huge advocate for animals the whole time he did weather.He brought animals on fox8 to help find homes for them.also did telathons to raise money for shelters and every day told people to bring you dogs inside if it was too cold or to hot outside.He fought hard for his law :)

I so wish we could get stronger animal protection laws here in MS, but the MS Farm Bureau has fought against it tooth & nail saying it would be used against livestock owners.

Ditto! Big difference between livestock and pets. I really wish we had stronger laws.
