I had my post all typed up but it seems it never posted so I will try again..
Asking for a friend..
She has been looking at a local stallion to breed to her mare but he has a slight pigeon toe on the right front. his legs are straight it just seems to be in the hoof. he has never taken a lame step. It has never affected him in the arena.
Would this be a major red flag?
Is this something that could be passed on to the foal.
Any info that I can pass on to her would be greatly appreciated!
1. Maybe 2. possibly 3. It would have to be a smoking deal for me to chose a stallion with a defect over others priced the same, bred the same etc. that did not have the defect.
