We are ALL on a spiritual journey. God allows experiences to bring about growth in our life. Be patient. LOVE. And CONTINUE to pray!
This will alter your perspective and your prayers. Yôu will stop focusing on the heartache and begin to look at the bigger picture God has for you. Last week, I stopped begging for relief from the pain of losing my horse, and begin asking God to accomplish His eternal purposes through this hurtful situation. Basically, I began to pray as Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane: " Yôur will ,not mine , be done". I follow Jesus's example and surrendered my wishes in exchange for God's higher purpose. I was able to focus once again on my daily routine. Peace replaced the angst I'd felt. And my ability to function was restored. Instead of just going though the motions.
Are you wrestling amid a painful situation and telling Jesus how and when to fix it? Surrender your wishes to the One Who knows best and invite Him to do His Will. Thank Jesus for modeling true surrender. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu. lay Yôur hand of mercy upon all those affected by fires, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Lord so much destruction, death and pain. guide them ALL to seek comfort from Yôu. In the. MIGHTY NAME of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior I pray ALL these things AMEN AMEN!!
