Since we need a happy thread... I'm finally riding again. I sold my once in a lifetime buckskin stud (many of you knew Duncan from the horse in the hotel pictures). I traded off my Cross Spur mare for a blue roan that will be my ranch pleasure horse. I've ridden now 4 times in the last 18 months and I'm starting to enjoy it again. Here are a couple of pictures from last night.

Sean and I rode last Saturday for the first time in over 2 years because of his back issues---and we had a ball. Went to some friend's house, rode in their new covered arena, did a lot of visiting, and then they cooked steaks for us. It was so enjoyable. The best parts were that my big boy was a DOLL even tho he had not even had a bridle on in those 2 years and that Sean wasn't sore or hurting the next day. . . Lord I've missed riding.
You have a very pretty pony, and so glad you're having fun again.
