I have noticed the last few days when I go to catch my horse as he is walking up to me from out in the pasture I could hear a popping noise. I put his halter on and started walking to the tie rail, and almost every step we took both hocks would make popping sound. It is the same sound as if you were to pop your own knuckles.. he has not taking any lame steps. any thoughts..

I have one that does that too. He hasn't shown reason for x rays and the vets haven't been concerned. I did find this in my search though. http://www.askahorsevet.com/clicking-hocks/
