Anyone have any experience using Thrive vitamins? It's for people and supposed to be really energizing. It's endorsed by Michelle McLeod...see link above. Lately a few of my barrel racing friends have been swearing by it and selling it. But I think its expensive (haven't been able to find a price) so want to learn more before I jump on the bandwagon.

Full of stimulants. Filling your nutritional gaps is just a great buzzword. Gave both my mom and I palpitations and high blood pressure

I tried it about a year ago and my body could not tolerate it. It gave me heart palpitations, I was anxious all the time, I was jittery, it made me nauseated, etc
I felt like I was speeding and had drank 4 energy drinks and 10 cups of coffee all at once. Honestly it was a bit frightening for me. I did not like it at all- WAY too much for me. I do know people who swear by it, but it seems to me that people who use it for a long time are going to start to experience adrenal burnout at some point. I think it is more healthy to get usable energy in a more natural way. JMO.

I liked the shakes. The patch irritated my skin and all 3 together made me feel funky, def not "mental clarity" more like out of body experience. Oh and I have better things to spend my money on and banish people from my timeline for trying to compulsively sell me stuff (I do use some MLM products, I just don't want every other post on my FB feed to be about them!)

I have cleaned up my diet. I have a Greek yogurt protein smoothie for breakfast every morning, keeps me full until lunch. I eat when I'm bored so keep healthy snacks like nuts on hand. For lunch I have a salad LOADED with goodies. The goodies outweighs the greens of choice - brown rice and quinoa, brussel sprouts, feta cheese, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, various beans, hard boiled eggs, shredded chicken, sautéed onions, shrimp, avocado, etc etc are just a few of my favorite toppings. I use salsa or olive oil and balsamic for dressing. For dinner I eat whatever I cook for the 2 of us, but I watch my portions.

I workout harder through the slow winter months and now I just try to keep yoga incorporated into my routine now that we are riding more.

Stronger than ever and down 10lbs and maintaining it <- that's always been the hardest part.

Most importantly I belong to a Facebook group/workout group for accountability. Ironically they do have a lot of thrivers and the founder of the business uses it, but doesn't push it at all.

Take a B-12 vitamin...or four.... Every 5 seconds.
Or two scoops of pre-workout.... and then repete every hour.

Same effect.

Yes.  1500% of your daily value of B12.  NOT GOOD.

I took it and it gave me a rash and heart palpitations. Eat right and take a good multivitamin and you shouldn't have nutritional gaps. Sorry, I don't buy into that thought process. I've heard people say they cant live without it and get headaches when they go off...likely because it's full of addictive stimulants. Not my bag baby, but also not here to judge. If they want to take it than by all means ingest away. Ain't hurting my checkbook or body.

It made me feel like I was having a heart attack. My friend the same thing. It sky rocketed my blood pressure and I have never had high blood pressure. The rep said I was "detoxing" I think it's all BS. Another friend of mine could not leave the toilet. But hey if you have good luck with it more power to ya.

I tried it a year ago as well. Same results as many of the people here. Its amazing how nice the Thrive people are when you agree to try it but once you cancel or stop, they blame the non success on YOU.... And they are the same people who will claim the " Every horse is different" supplement scenario and not bat an eye. It is MLM and most don't want to admit it.

How scary!!
I've got a few friends who swear by it. Others who've felt some of these same things.  If being thin, fit and healthy came from a patch everyone would be that way.  There are no shortcuts - just eat right, workout and get decent sleep.

I'll be the opposite here. Yes, I have read about people who can't take it because of symptoms already discussed. My experience has been different. It has helped me. For most of my life, I have suffered from fatigue. Everybody gets tired but for me, it was more than usual. I hardly could go to school in my early years because I just couldn't handle those long days. I've also been a picky eater from the get go. Some foods I just don't tolerate at all, never have, never will. Thrive has helped all this. I work three jobs, audio engineer, barrel racing and freelance sports writer. I couldn't do what I'm doing now without Thrive. When I do skip days and I have, I notice a difference. I'm trashed and I tend to nap all day. I'm not jittery, I'm not buzzed. It does give me more energy but I'm still not bouncing off the walls.

I tried it and didn't like it either. All those using it just told me to keep using and it will get better but a trip to the ER thinking I was having a heart attack? Constant heart palpitations? I swear I didn't sleep ever while on it. Soon as I quit, I slept great and all the side effects went away.
I think if a person just took the time to read the ingrediants listed on the package - you will see why so many have all thoee side effects.
I have since started taking Rain products and love them! All natural, no stimulants, no preservatives, non-gmo
All natural nutrtition in a 2oz package. I'd sure tell a person more about it if they wanted to PM me.

I am also different then most that have posted. I have been using Thrive for a year now. I dont push it on people. If they want it and like it great. If they dont, thats great too.I havent lost any friendships over this, thats for sure. I also have felt better then I have in years. I wake up and feel like I have finally gotten the sleep I need. When I go to bed at night, I fall asleep. I do not lay there awake for hours anymore. The people I have met since doing thrive have become more like family to me. I am also 4 weeks post op and my Dr has told me that I have healed well and quickly compared to most. I can thank Thrive for that and also got 2 of the nurses that were taking care of me to join me in my thrive journey.. They love it also. Makes their night shifts so much easier!

I was so sick and miserable on this product. I only took half of what was suggested and I thought I was going to have a heart attack. It's just like any "magic pill" scam out there, except I think thrive promotors might be the most annoying.

Be careful and look into the ingredients. Sure there are vitamins, but just because you sprinkle some vitamins on crack it doesn't make it good for you.

I used thrive - I only took one  pill and did not do the patch nor the shake - all that was too much for me..... it worked for me for awhile.
It did give me energy and clarity  - but I just couldn't afford it.

I was on Thrive for a year and a half... then decided to go off because I was hearing that I was filling myself with unhealthy stimulants.  Well...  after 8 months off, I recently went back on it.  I greatly benefit from lack of joint pain, next to no migraines, and an improved digestive system.  I have better mental clarity and so much more energy to get through my day.  It lifts what I feel was mild depression due to being tired.  I was really battling migraines when I decided to start Thrive.  I felt I had nothing to lose!

I am a firm believer that a good, healthy diet and ample excercise is the way to go, but I SUCK at that!  Horrible will power too!

I take one capsule in the morning and the second one around 2:00.  It is suggested to take both capsules in the morning, however... I am a special education teacher who sits at a table to work with kids most of the day.   I had way too much energy with two capsules in the morning to want to sit. The 2:00 capsule gives me a boost to finish out my day.  I used to have a 5:00 crash before I started Thrive.   I do wear the patch, and sometimes drink the mix.  I cut way back on what I eat when I drink the mix.   I like the vanilla flavor in really cold skim milk... yummy!

If I miss taking a capsule I start getting a headache. Yep, just like when I had caffeine withdrawals.

I am around kids who bring all kinds of germs to school, and my immunity system has been the best it ever has in 20+ years of teaching.   I felt the benefits on Day 1 of taking it when my horribly arthritic ankle didn't hurt for the first time in years.

It doesn't really help me with weight loss.  I think some people do lose weight because they become more active.  I have the same amount of activity as I did Pre-Thriv,e but just do not feel as tired doing it.

I do not spend money on any of the "extras" they promote.  I have no problems sleeping at night.  Their sales pitch was the three steps:  capsule, patch, drink mix.  Kind of made me wonder why the created all the extra stuff when the three steps are supposed to be all you need.  I realize people benefit from different things.

I am a horrible salesmen and do not get free product.  It stretches my budget to afford what I take. A lot of promises/pepe talks are made that you are going to get people to join in and you will get free product, but I didn't have success with that.  However, when I went off Thrive I bought a daily vitamin and a joint supplement that were just about as much as I was spending on Thrive.  I gave up my daily gas station cappacino and I quit drinking pop.  So I have savings there.

I have plenty of friends who didn't feel any benefits or felt too jittery on it.  It obviously doesn't work the same for everyone.  Good luck in what you decide to do!

I have tried it as well. I got a week long sample, well, the first two days I was okay. By the third, my whole body ached and I was light headed, in pain and nauseous. I had to go home from work that day.

Went the next day and started my own vitamins that I had been taking, felt 100% better.

I watch so many people feel great on it, but if you actually look it up there are so many bad reviews on the product. It has a ton of stimulants in it, 1667% of B12 in it of your daily value. I feel like it would kill you eventually if you take it long enough.

B12 is a water soluble vitamin and in most cases is safe, even in large doses. Your body will absorb what is needed and the rest will be excreted. In some cases I guess it could cause palpitations for some, but as a general rule its likely not from the B12.

I tried it and kept me up all night, and my pulse was higher than it normally is.  If anyone is interested I have packets of the capsules, shake packets and the booster drinks that I will sell.
