I have used the same set of braided barrel reins for the past 15 years. They are heavier than the ones I see most with nowadays and I believe they are waxed, because they are stiffer and don't stretch at all really. I can't seem to find a similar set anywhere. What braided barrel reins do you use and love?

I have probably 15 pair of leather reins. From just the single slick leather to braided and the laced ones. I don't like the feel of nylon, they stretch or they get too stiff. I do have a pair of Latricia Duke specials that the rein man made me, they are made out of old team roping ropes. I love them. They stay soft.

I love these from Shallow Creek Bits! I have some Gale Beebe reins I like, as well. But the leather ones are the bomb! https://www.shallowcreekbits.com/collections/reins/products/laced-leather-reins?variant=31198223363
