| I have my boys on previcox (I know it is for dogs but my vet recommended it for my horses as well). Any of you use nutri vet instead of previcox? |

| the previcox is for dogs and I give it to my horses (per vet's advice) so I was wondering if the nutri vet will have the same effect as it is more cost effective  |

Location: Muskogee, OK | Previcox is a NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), in a similar drug class to Bute and Banamine.
I am not familiar with nutri-vet, but Dr. google seems to think it is a joint supplement for dogs containing things like glucosamine, chrondroitin and MSM. If this is the case, then no, it is not going to be at all comparable with Previcox. Also, the concentration of those things in the small chewables are going to be nowhere near the dose you would need for a horse. |

Previcox , now horse version also in pill form equioxx, is labeled for 57mg 1x daily. |
