DOes anyone know if you can tell how old a saddle is by the seriel numbers? I am looking at buyin a saddle and it is excellent shape but not sure how old it is.. Sooo just curious if there is a way to tell manufacture date

Call Billy Cook and give them the numbers. They can tell you everything about the saddle.

If you have a billy cook /sulphur . the number is the date the saddle is finished. something like this 04171979 which is this 04/17/1979. it will be up under the fender.
