I have a pony with a crested neck. Is there any supplement or anything I can give him to help get rid of it? When he loses weight, it isn't as hard, but is floppy. Ew! He did have some lumps on his butt too, but when he lost some weight, those seem to have went away on their own.
CrossCreek has a pony that she keeps a muzzle on 24/7 or during the day and dry lots at night in a stall. A handful of feed to get him to come up at night and Horseshoer's Secret to help his feet.

We used Thyro-L on my mare until she lost the weight she needed. We maintain her on a very low amount of purina well-solve twice a day and about 22 lbs of hay (divided up into two feedings). She never goes out to graze without a grazing muzzle.
