A couple of years a go I answered an ad for a 5 year old off the track quarter horse mare for sale. She was so dirt cheap that I think everyone thought something was wrong with her. It was a series of life events that she found herself for sale, none of it her fault. I could not stop thinking about this mare being so cheap that she may end up in a bad place. I gambled, drove three hours, tried her out in a truck stop and brought her home. This mare has been nothing but a dream. I show her in Western Dressage and English Dressage. She is moving up the levels nicely and shows no limits at this point. If you have friends that are interested in Western or English Dressage horses I suggest an off the track quarter horse, forget the warmbloods!
Whiteboy, you and I emailed back and forth for a while about her progress.

Yeah I remember talking about her. Very exciting for you guys. Any updated pics of her?
Do you remember how nondescript the ad was? But her bloodlines were very cool. I am too chicken to run barrels but I show her in Western Dressage in a Barrel Racing saddle. :)
