This is a slight spin off from a thread I saw earlier this week. I have used classic legacy boots and iconoclasts. I love the iconoclasts but my horse is not crazy about them on back. I'm a big believer in front boots and bells, but how much more support/protection do boots provide than polo wraps on hinds? Does it make much difference?
Edited to ask... have any of you used handmade polos like the ones sold on etsy?

I use iconoclast on the front and polos on the back. I like polos but don't feel like the offer enough protection from a back foot to be used on the front. I feel like they are less binding than a boot on the hind legs.

My gelding has some front leg conformation issues so I use polos on him in front because boots don't fit him right. I used to polo around but I noticed my gelding burning through them from sliding so he now wears boots on back.

I honestly switch it up some and have run consistently for a while with each. I prefer boots because they don't bother my horse and they're quick and easy! I feel like they do offer somewhat better support but as long as you know how to wrap the polis well if your horse fusses with the boots then that's what may work best for you! I swear I always feel like I've wrapped them wrong lol

Flowboots are what my mare likes best on her hind legs. She will kick out with CEs on or PCs. She does ok with Iconoclast on her hinds but flow boots she moves around the most comfortably.

I've tried polos.. My horse sets his but in the ground and burns holes in them. I can put on a new set then make a run and have a hole in them just after the one run... So I prefer boots.
