We're hopefully moving to a new place with an indoor arena. Arena is 80' X 180'.

Narrowest I've seen, in arenas I've ran, is 100'. Not many standard pattern arenas in the area, we're use to smaller indoor patterns.

I know there are some TINY patterns out there but wondering if it'd be worth trying to put on small jackpots?

I've went to a barrel races and the indoor arena was 60x200. It's tight between first and second, but I am in the Midwest and finding winter shows is hard so we deal. I think if you have adequate added $$ and run a smooth, timely show people will come.

It would be small, but I went to an OUTDOOR rodeo last summer that was 86 feet 6 inches wide and had barrels set 20 feet off the fences for 46'6" between 1 & 2. It was set really short too with 61'6" from 1 & 2 to 3rd, which was 30' off the chutes and you had 40 feet from gate to timer, then 15 feet from timer to barrels. I think an 11.9 won it.  You sure couldn't make any mistakes!

Right now, I wish there was a jackpot in a pen that size around me because the little girl riding my old horse needs to go get through the pattern in public without forgetting how to cue him! He still remembers it's a timed event and she forgets he's not as automatic in public as at the practice pen......ugh!

We may have been at the same rodeo! We have a couple around here that high 11's usually win. One I swear I counted 3 strides between 1 and 2 in a friend's video

We had a local rodeo that set up a barrel pattern on a standardbred racetrack. Talk about narrow!! 1+2 could have been poles in a pole class!! 3 was about 2 1/2 poles from 1+2!! The horses were not even finished turning the first when they had to get ready for number 2...

Indianola, IA!
Clifford really tried to work but I got behind leaving first, went to the fence at second and quit riding early so we hit third. I think we were a 12.4, 5 or 6 though. Man it happened fast!!

Thank you all for the input! The things we do and pens we'll run in for the love of the sport! lol
The current owner had some barrels set up when we looked at it. I can make an alley for run in as there is holding pens and a roping shoot at one end.
Guess we'll have to see how it goes!

BINGO!

I'm kind of excited to run my 14.1h guy in there though, should be right up his alley!

Cresco, IA is even smaller, but I've only seen it in videos.
