you don't have to read very far into Psalm. 2:1-12 to see the sinfulness of mans's heart. If we do not keep our hearts in check with our Heavenly Father, it won't be long u til we attempt to occupy His place on the throne. Rebellion is ever present reality in the heart of unbelievers and believers as we reflect at attitude of tpentitlement rather than a spirit of humility.
Psalm 2:1-12 Why do the nations rage. And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves , and the rulers take counsel together, against The Lord and against the Annointed, saying, " Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us"
Solomon had it right when he wrote Proverbs 4:23. " keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life. if you wish to benefit most from your time in The Lord , reflect more on personalizing God's truth in light of your own heart as you seek to understand the depth of His truth. The warning is accurate ; we can attempt to set ourselves again The Lord Psalm 2:2
As we humble ourselves and seek His rule in our lives, we must be careful and sensitive to our hearts' wickness that seeks to rule and reign in our lives. As The Lord gives us a glimpses of the King He sent to rule v 6 " Yet I have set My King on my Holy hill Zion". Our hearts can be telnet to realize that He indeed is our ONLY hope. In this context, He becomes the HOPE of the nations that has full co tell of the earth v 8. Therefore, Be WISE... SERVE The Lord with fear. Vv 10-11. Yôu will be BLESSED as your put your TRUST in Him v 12
For it is WITH God all things are possible have a VERY BLESSEd SPIRITFILLED Monday ALL!
