Psalm 79:8 Oh, do not remember former inquities against us! let Yôur tender mercies come speedily to meet us, For we have been brought very low. These words in verse 8 seem to sum up the psalmist's pain. We have been brought very low. Sooner or later , life will bring us all very low. It may be due to our own choices,or those of others, or for no apparent reason. But verse 8 also gives us good news, regardless of what brings us low.....we can call out for God's tender mercies to come speedily to meet us. When life brings us low, it also brings us near to God. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, " The Lord IS NEAR to those who have a broken heart."
For it is with God all things are possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu Amen
