Well here I go again! Haha. I think I've posted this the past two years as well. I just graduated Friday and started a rewarding job, but live in town and don't have the money or place to have a horse right now. Would like to pay off my small amount of debt, move up financially, and get in a more stable position before I consider having a horse again. I'm located in Morgantown, WV and was wondering if anyone had an extra horse they would want ridden, shown, leased out, give lessons on, etc? Horses are my life, as I'm sure you all understand, and it drives me nuts not being able to ride or anything!! Anyone know of anyone? It's also, understandably, hard to find anyone who is willing to let you ride their horse. I totally understand that and would sign a waiver, etc. I would just be looking to ride around twice a week in the evenings after work and if there were shows on the weekend, I'd participate in that as well if they wanted me to or needed me too. I'd be all about it! I'm a little rusty since it's been about a year since I rode, but can ride. I think I'd be willing to travel up to an hour away. If you don't know where Morgantown is, it's northern WV and really close to PA, MD, and somewhat close to OH. I AM willing to pay whether it's lessons, leasing, cleaning stalls, whatever it takes. Thanks guys!!

Edited to add: I have a saddle, saddle pad, breast collar, reins, sport boots, and everything just so whoever knows that I'm prepared and that I have the extras taken care of if that would be an issue!!

I think I replied to you before....wished you lived near me! I have 2 now six year olds that I need to ride but am basically afraid to get on unless someone is riding with me (sucks to get old!). I have to ride by myself and these two just don't get ridden because of my fear. I just need some one in the saddle of one of the horses I DO ride to make me feel safe enough to get on. Oh to be young and fearless again and these two are going to waste and paying the price for my fears. They have been broke but need lots of wet saddle pads that they don't get.

Alas you are hundreds of miles away.

Shoot me a PM.  Not sure if im within an hour from you....im located about 25 miles north of Pittsburgh.  I don't have anything for you to lease on a regular basis, but don't mind sharing my old man.  I don't ride as much as I would like during the week, so having someone ride him would be great!  Also have a 3 year old headed to the trainer in June.  Once he gets back, i'll be riding him more, and the old man less....if anything I can at least help with you geting a "horse fix"....haha...might be able to work something out....
