| I'm just south of Wichita and very nervous. Usually I find storms are exciting but this one is more scary. It's very sticky and strange feeling outside. |

Location: North Dakota | In ND we don't see really severe weather too often (knock on wood) and I am so thankful for that. Tornados terrify me more than anything. My brother lives in Kansas but is in Cali for some training before he gets deployed over seas so I don't have to worry about him during this round of storms but prayers to all in the area that may be in the line of the storms! I will be thinking of you all today! |

We dont the horrible storms like you guys do farther up, but we do get a fair share of them.. Its very sticky here to and alot of haze, we have a chance for some strong ones but alot of times they go up above us so we dont get the super cells like ya'll but sometimes it gets us.. Prayers for all of you |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | I'm half way between Wichita and Salina, right on the edge of the high warning area. My sister lives right smack in the middle of where it is supposed to be the worst--so I'm possibly more worried for her family than myself right now. My husband is in Oklahoma working today, so I hope he hot foots it home early. I'm trying to judge what time to go put horses up and move the chicken coop...whilst I process everyone's last minute "oh my gosh I should buy hail insurance" requests and applications. Spring time fun in crop insurance in KS! |

Location: That part of Texas | Brad Sowder with KOCO in OKC posted a video on FB earlier today (an earlier broadcast) that basically shows the FIRST round starting at 3 pm -- main threat is hail but may have some tornadoes -- with the SECOND round coming later after dark that is the one everybody needs to watch for in regards to large tornadoes. He said the jet stream will kick in on that second round to add the fuel so it's gonna be night time watching for the big ones that makes it even worse. Just know that if the first round doesn't hit you or it's not too bad, it's not over and to get ready for another round later on.
My area got hit Tuesday with large tornadoes and we are the starting point (guess the dry line is going to be right over us or just off to the west) for these when they start today. I'll try to post to keep people updated on when they are starting and how bad it is looking from the jump. Everybody stay safe and don't go to sleep without checking the radar for new stuff around 9 pm to later.

That's what I said on Tuesday before ours started. I was moving equipment and vehicles under the sheds and into the barn and was having a hard time breathing it was so muggy. It was almost like being at the coast with no breeze. |

Location: Oklahoma | It is supposed to start here between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (east central Oklahoma). Rode the horses early at about 11 a.m. so we could get them ridden before the storms. My Lord, it was so hot and sticky, the flies were swarming and it was just miserable, but we got them ridden. I'm sure it's really going to be bad this evening and will be up late watching it. |

Location: California | I'm in Wichita Falls. I don't like the feel of the air AT ALL! It's supposed to hit us pretty hard. I'm on an unplanned run for a round bale so it's out before the mud prevents us from doing it a different day. My main concerns are my mare who is penned up on vet orders and my 2 month old colt.... Our other horses can clear the fence and will if they need to. I really hope it doesn't get as bad as they say it will! Prayers to everyone in the path of this system! |

Location: That part of Texas | It's starting to pick up here on the Texas border -- I know other storms are already coming up from southwest Oklahoma. Everybody get ready and get somewhere safe before they hit. The man who was killed in Elk City on Tuesday left his mobile home too late to seek other shelter and was killed in the tornado. Don't wait -- move if you gotta go some place else than where you are at. |

Location: California | First storm cell has come and gone here. That was pretty intense. Tons of rotation and funnel clouds but nothing touched down that I know of. THANK GOD! We have another smaller cell still headed our way.

Location: Oklahoma | The afternoon/evening storms missed us. Woke up at 1am to heavy rain, thunder, lightening and hail. Lasted until about 3am. No vehicle damage and our house is good. Our horse was in the barn last night, so he was safe too. |

No they are pics others in my area took. I was with my sister keeping my niece and nephew calm so I didn't get my own pics. It was pretty nasty. We have our 3rd or 4th storm cell passing over right now. My pasture is flooded. We are getting small breaks in the rain but so far it hasn't let up for very long.
This pic was taken by someone about 40 minutes from me:
