I had a son that didn't make much of a barrel horse, but I suspect he was PSSM from his bottom side. I did get him really broke and he was fun just to ride.

But seriously OP, I love the DNB's.
This is very true. A friend had one they raised and that horse was the one to beat around here. Now the niece rides her in Jr high rodeo. Very sensible mare.
