I've contemplated all day on whether I'm not to post this, but after long reflection and many prayers decided that she belonged to me long enough that I felt it appropriate. One of the greatest ones I ever got to ride or own with an LTE of over 100,000k went on to greener pastures today. Whateva was an own daughter of DTF out of an own daughter of Lanes Leinster. She came into my life at a time when I desperately needed something to believe in, and she accomplished more for me than I could have ever dreamed of. While under my ownership she won a congress title, qualified for the AQHA world show twice, placed in the top 3 in a round at the BBR finals, and won countless jackpots and futurity go rounds. She was my dream horse that life and circumstances forced me to sell. She went on to be an amazing broodmare for Karen Ottinger where she stayed until she died. Whateva was big, tough, and gritty. She gave you 100% irregardless of the circumstances. She was kind and loving and boy was she fast. I loved her like my own child. Please keep Mrs. Karen and all of Princess Whatevas connections in your prayers. I find so much peace in knowing that my daddy was her biggest fan and he was excited to see her when she got there this morning!

She was a great mare. I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't realize that Peanut sold her.

She was a great mare. I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't realize that Peanut sold her.

Peanut never owned WHATEVA, she has FOREVA her half sister. They are both out of One Hot Lane, but Whateva was by DTF and Foreva is by Reds Western Native (naturally!). I've only seen Foreva a handful of times when she was super young, but they could pass for TWINS! One Hot Lane really marks her babies. A dear friend of mine owns One Hot Lane now and stands a stud out of her by Bully Bullion, he looks just like them too. She is an incredible broodmare. I'm breeding my Pc Fire n Smoak daughter to the Bully BullionxOHL stud next week. Fingers crossed I get something as gritty as Whateva was. That mare had a heart the size of Texas.

You have a wonderful outlook. I smiled when I read the last sentence. What a great outlook to have. If you're Daddy is anything like mine, he will take just as good care of her there as you did here.
Prayers for peace and comfort...
