We are setting up our new place and have irrigated pastures. Also will have 6 - 12' by 20' stalls with 20' by 42' runs. The next thing is to setup some dry lots that will eventually have a shelter. How big do you make your dry lots? At times the horses will have to spend multiple days in them, when we are irrigating. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!!

Where I previously boarded there was a dry lot turnout and you could comfortably fit 2-3 horses in it.  I want to say it was AROUND 100x150?  Maybe a little bigger?  One side was the width of the arena and that's where I'm drawing up my calculations.
