Location: In The Snow, AZ | We spent a beautiful day out on our local lake. Unfortunately it ended in an awful tragedy as an 18 year old boy drowned. Divers are being brought in from out of town to assist in locating his body. His family is inconsolable. Just asking for prayers for some strangers. They desperately need them. Thanks guys. Be safe out there. |

As sad as it is, at least they found his body and the family can have some peace from that. I've watched some shows where the bodies are never recovered, and the family is almost driven crazy from grief of never knowing where he is.

That was my biggest fear, that they wouldn't find him. It's a beautiful lake, but the water is always murky. We had several firefighters come aboard our boat with their tools to drag the lakebottom and spent several hours trying to help. Unfortunately, where Kevin was last seen, the depth was 23', and there was no way they could get him. So the dive team was brought up from Phoenix. He was found shortly thereafter. Just glad this family has him, so they can give him a proper burial.
I'm definitely not one to ask for donations by any means. Just wanted to post his gofundme page incase anyone was interested. Thank you all again for your prayers for this family. No parent should have to bury their child, and the grief and pain I saw in their faces will always be with me.

When I read things like this, I look at Chandler and my heart actually hurts thinking what I would do if something happened to him. . . As a parent I know there is nothing worse in the world I could ever go thru than losing my son. I pray for God's hand of mercy and peace for this family, especially his parents. |
