Wanted to see what you all have found to be the best tricks to feed powdered supplements?
I have a horse that gets several powdered supplements, and I have a heck of a time keeping them from flying away or going to the bottom of the bucket.
Any suggestions?

Take a small amount of your grain, add oil, swirl grain in oil to coat, add powder and gently swirl again.

1. Wet it or like the other poster said add oil
2. You to have enough grain.
3. Add some Sweet Feed
4. If your horse still won't eat it all find a different supplement.

Little bit of warm water. If you have to give multiple supplements then LAYER. Put a little grain then one supplement, then a little more grain and second supplement etc. Add a little water to the top and its perfect.

Have you checked to see if you can get these in a pellet? My horses hardly will eat the powdered supplements, so I always get the pellet if it will come that way, like you my powder supplements would always be at the bottom of the feed buckets. Like others said try wetting your feed to get the powder to stick..

I just keep a little spray bottle of water next to my powdered supplements.  A quick mist and they will stick to the feed when you shake them in.

Mine get an alfalfa mash at noon. Supplements go in there. They scarf it up.
