Location: North Dakota | I got my first bottle about a week ago and have used it a few times on my mare's legs and bad knees and also on my 24 year old arthritic geldings fetlocks where he tends to swell up. I have been impressed so far. I use it under wraps and rub it on with grain of the hair and leave on overnight. I got the gel but would love to get the concentrate so I can spray on my mare's body after a run. It didn't smell and my hands didn't tingle after like they do with absorbine or bigeloil. |

| Love it. I have the gel and a spray bottle mixed up of the concentrate.
I misted the concentrate over my sunburned arms this weekend, nice relief! Wish I would have had the gel on hand. |

| I used it on swelling of a leg, followed the directions, and I was disappointed, it didn't take any swelling down. The sore no more poultice took the swelling away no problem.
I tried it to pull abscesses out, not impressed, I get better results with Epsom salts and glycerine.
For the price, I would choose something else |

| Those who use it with success are you soaking the wraps and then wrapping I've never had much luck tightening legs with it either |

| draw it out is a liniment you rub on for joints its not to be ingested! I think you guys are thinking of DRAW. I believe its bentonite clay or something like it. Its a completely different product. |

nope, Im talking bout the same stuff. I have Draw and the Draw it out. Has same ingredients, just don't know the difference in the amounts of the ingredients. One has an extra ingredient cant remember which one. Dr. Mitchell Draw you can use for ulcers and it works but I haven't tried the Draw it out, I asked the lady that sold it to me she said yes you can use for ulcers they cant advertise it for that. But I haven't used any of my Draw it out. thanks! |

Location: Deep South | I also have heard of a few people using DIO liniment for ulcers. Their results were not confirmed with a scope, but they said the symptoms disappeared. |

| Yeah i don't know if I'd feel comfortable giving that to my horse for ulcers. There are so many other products out there. I have a bottle of draw it out. I tried looking on line and this website mentions giving it for ulcers but this stuff is just called plain draw not draw it out. Is it the same product but an older version of it ? http://runningbrokequarterhorses.weebly.com/drawreg1.html |

I am intrigued! But I also don't know if I'd be comfortable feeding it. Very interesting. |

Location: Good ole SE Mo | I love DIO. I use it every time on my horses. Sometimes before and after I run just cuz I can lol I also use it on myself all the time and it works for my soreness so I figure it is helping the horses too.
On the note about ulcers, not sure on that but Mom did hear a couple weekends ago about giving some of the liquid to horses if they are trying to colic. I use In the Zone (Animal Element) if I think I have one they may be starting colic but if I happened to be out of that then Mom suggested using some DIO. This all is of course in a pinch if I didn't have anything else on hand. Mom sells both so I feel like she is in the know lol I always run to her for advice haha |

Location: Illinois | I use it on legs and on myself. In August I used it on his body (the 30/70) in the spray and it burned his back, but he's been blistered on his back years ago with Vetrolin and is hypersensitive to things on his back now. I couldn't ride for a month and he still twitches like a horsefly is under the saddle unless I keep my pad cleaned at least weekly. I don't blame the product for that, I probably shouldn't have sprayed it on his back, but I thought it would be safe with its ingredients. Lesson learned twice now. I use it on myself several times a week, both the gel and the concentrate and I can always tell a difference. |

Location: Alaska | I use it and I love it. I swear I actually can see the swelling disappear sometimes. :) I use it before and after we run. I use it full strength on his legs and then dilute it a little in a spray bottle for back and shoulders. We keep a bottle in the trailer at all times.

Location: Arizona | I love the gel!! It's so easy to use no washing like a poultice. I have also used the concentrate. I soak my wraps in it. I have also used the concentrate on some summer itch my mare had, worked great! |

| For the Draw It Out Gel, can it be used under professional choice boots? Does the gel need to dry before putting boots on?
Also, if I were to put it on the night before, what do I wrap it with? I signed up for a one day clinic in December, and thought about using this the night before..but never used this product before. |

Yes, it can be used under SMB boots. Personally, I would let it dry first, but I don't think it matters. I normally don't wrap legs when I use it. I just massage it in real well and let it go, but I am sure you could use it under standing wraps if you wanted. |

Thank you! How long does it actually last? Is it something that needs to be applied every hour, etc? |

No, I actually apply it before I run. Then, again after she's cooled out, but you could do it once a day and be fine. |

Location: cincinnati, oh | I keep it in stock also if anyone ever needs it. I use the gel on myself A LOT! LOL it will take the sting out of a sunburn and take swelling down on a bug bite in addition to all the regular stuff you'd think of. It is safe to use under wraps, pads, blankets, etc. I have a friend that sprained her ankle and it swelled up like a balloon and she soaked a sock in it and slept in it and it took the swelling and bruising down crazy fast! |

I've been using it the last week on my face for my sinus infection, I've actually felt a difference in the pressure on my face. I keep a bottle of gel & concentrate at my house as well as bottles at the barn & in the trailer. If I have a really sore day from something I'll pour some in my bathtub & soak. I sweat like hell in it, which is what it's supposed to do. I don't do it often because it takes a good amount of the concentrate, I use about 3 cups. |
