Absolutely agree but the amount of those spouting they wish it had been Trump is inexcusable. The acceptance that it is Ok because Trump has said and done disgusting things is hypocritical to say the least and dangerous at its best. Lines are crossed that would not have been tolerated in previous administrations. |

Look at your own progressive liberal left wing comrades there Sweetheart. Plays depicting Trumps assassination. Comedians holding up Trump's severed, bloody head. A former AG admitting there will be violence and blood in the streets. Politicians telling their lemmings that Republican laws will kill people. Celebrities imagining blowing up the White House. Politicians blaming the violence on conservative radio talk show hosts.
Frankly, I think the loony left wants a war. That in and of itself tells me they are certifiable. |

| The good doctor probably did not see the same play in 2012 in the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis with an Obama themed Caesar. He probably never heard about it because there was no "Liberal" outcry.
President Obama was hung and burned in effigy countless times, his family ridiculed and taunted, and even his mother-in-law who cared for their children was degraded.
Trump's a big boy. He has made his bed, now he can lie in it, and all the phoney outrage and hypocrisy just makes Trump supporters look stupid. He's your boy. Fine. Own his decisions, just don't expect everyone to agree with you. As a matter of fact, after his new poll, don't expect 60% of people to agree with you.
And finally, for years, Republicans have incited 2nd Amendment remedies for their opponents from putting bullseyes on pictures of them and their districts to saying it outright. They have loosened gun laws and fought every effort to enforce background checks for offenders, including domestic violence perpetrators, which would have included the shooter, who has a long criminal history. But no, it's guns for everyone. Just today after the shooting, Congressmen canceled a vote on a bill to loosen more gun rules, including those regulating silencers and armor piercing bullets. Too bad they didn't have as much concern for 26 little children years before.
So don't preach Liberals are evil. Preach sensible laws to combat gun violence. It's easy. Mentally ill people and criminals don't need guns. Don't preach Media is bad. Just because they print something you don't like or agree with, deal with it. Don't like violence? Then don't advocate for it (see Trump rally footage). And finally, quit categorizing people. We are not defined as Dems or Repubs, Conservatives or Liberals. We are defined by how we treat others, especially those less fortunate than us. So if you can't look in the mirror and see perfection, shut the hell up about those you disagree with. Political stupidity has worn out it's welcome. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Nothing surprises me about what's going on since November 8th.
Actually, it doesn't really bother me that much because the the Liberal-progressive Democrats are just being themselves. A year ago, their cause célèbre was "Black Lives Matter", which catalyzed a movement that inspired cop killings across the country. They led marches to chants of "Dead cops now!" and "Pigs in a blanket....fry 'em like bacon!" That liberal movement led to the killing of many of the cops who were assassinated last year, with the shooting of 12 cops in Dallas, killing 5, in a single BLM-inspired attack. How did then president Obama react to these murderous thugs? By inviting them to the White House.
Now it appears to me that the BLM movement has been replaced by the "Antifa movement", that seems to be the latest cause célèbre that emerged into prominence on the day of Trump's inauguration, with violent protests in Washington DC. This Antifa movement has all but replaced the BLM movement, and now we see violent protests, injured cops, and widespread property destruction in places like Berkeley and Portland. It appears that the BLM movement has all but evaporated since Trump took office, with this new emergence of Antifa.
Then of course we have a kinder, gentler movement with thousands of women wearing vagina apparel of one sort or another, and attending rallies where celebrities express their violent fantasies about things like blowing up the White House. Indeed, violence and killing of Trump has become a fashionable "art form" amongst rappers, actors, and other entertainers. Why do they do this? No, it's not because they are concerned with women's rights, or gay rights, or even racism.
The real reason: POWER. The wealthy, champaign-sipping, elite, limousine liberal power brokers want power and control. They need lemmings to maintain control, and this is their modus operandi.
The fact of the matter is that the only good black is a liberal black. Conservative blacks are shunned, ridiculed, and caricatured. The only good woman is a liberal woman. The only good gay is a liberal gay...just ask Milo Yiannopolous.
No, what happened when that nut, who worked for the Bernie Sanders campaign, opened up on those Republican congressmen, doesn't surprise me in the least. We will see more things like this. Any sensational developments and events that distracts from the vital work that really needs to get accomplished is a good thing to the progressive-liberal operatives.
What really galls me is the feckless, spineless GOP doesn't seem to recognize these things for what they are. They will soon pay the price for their incompetence. As time marches on, voters will see no action on matters like trade, tax reform, the budget, Social Security, and healthcare. |

Let me tell you something about criminals and guns. Easy? You think the answer is easy? And really???... criminals don't need guns??? What have you been smoking? You can enact law, after law, after law and you will NEVER get guns out of criminal's hands! If they want them, they will find a way to get them. My husband has been in law enforcement for almost 40 years. The criminals have bigger, badder and more guns than law enforcement ever thought about having. They will ALWAYS find a way to get weapons unless all of a sudden everybody decides to act nice and share their candy and stop hurting each other. Ain't gonna happen till Jesus comes back!
When you have the easy answer on how to keep criminals from getting guns... please let the world know. I, for one, can't wait! |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | Then there is the liberal art professor from Washington who said:
"All Republicans in congress should be lined up and shot!"
A few weeks later, that's what happened. The liberals won't point the finger of blame at someone like this. They are already trying to twist things around and blame Trump. A Bernie Sanders campaign worker finds the GOP congressmen conveniently corralled on that baseball field surrounded by a tall chain link fence. That was a mother lode for him.
He proceeded to carry out that professor's wishes.
But.....in addition to this being Trump's fault, they are following one of their basic rules to "never let a crisis go to waste", by calling for more gun control.
And then we have the brilliant Terry McCaullife telling reporters that guns kill 93 million people a day.
If Scalise hadn't been there, with his security detail, that crazy Bernie Sanders worker could have wiped them all out.....unless a few of them happened to be carrying a firearm themselves. |

He was just a nut. We have to all just stop with the negative narrative and promoting violence. This board is an example. Thin the herd? Really, just stop promoting violence. For Gods sake it is just politics. It is not worth it.
Surrounded by other nuts.
The Wednesday shooting at a GOP practice for a charity baseball game was celebrated by an anti-Republican Facebook group of which the gunman was a member.
James T. Hodgkinson, who shot Rep. Steve Scalise and several others Wednesday morning, was a member of a left-wing Facebook group called “Terminate the Republican Party,” and regularly posted anti-Republican memes on their page.
Some “Terminate the Republican Party” members lauded Hodgkinson’s actions on the group’s page.
“And it’s one, two, three shots you’re out at the old ball game!!!” member Mari-Ellen Cain posted.

Yes...but the difference this time around is that the vast majority of the media and the liberal "elite" are encouraging, glamorizing and condoning these events. The crap these folks are getting away with on an almost daily basis would have gotten any conservative fired and run out of town. |

Some have VERY "selective" memories ..... I can find more links to the atrocities that were thrown out against Obama but here is a one ..... You act like Trump is the ONLY President who has had threats, etc.

Now I realize you hate Trump and are a vocal supporter of most liberal points of view, but do you not see the difference between those incidents and what's going on today? |

No, I do not..... just a mere week ago, you and others had your panties in a twist because KG held a bloody mask of Trump but for YEARS have not been upset with death threats, effigies hung, etc during Obama's Presidency. Hence the VERY selective memories..... AND if you would like to research "hate crimes" against minorities, muslims, LGBT, etc., they are substantially up since Trump's election. The glaring fact is that the protests, etc against Obama were primarily because of his race....Trump's protestors are against his policies and his "foot in mouth" disease. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | OK, so you don't know. I'll explain it to you. For starters, probably less than 10% of journalists are Republican. I think one poll said the figure is 7%. 2/3rds of Americans agree that the media is biased to the left.
The mainstream media's hatred of Trump has reached a level never before seen in American politics. I could cite hundreds of examples, but there's no need to do that. Many have reached the point where some actually consider any vote for Trump to be a hate crime. Part of the basis for this is the fact that Trump outsmarted them during the election and used them like cheap whores. Part is because Trump said they were corrupt, and crooked, and then proof of his assertions emerged. He stated that the polls were rigged and then he proved it. Now they want his head......enter people like Kathy Griffin, and many other like her amongst the celebrities and within the entertainment industry. Depictions of Trump's death are becoming mainstream under the guise of artistic expression. Hatred of Trump is mainstream...it's fashionable. It's accepted and it's cool to hate Trump. All this also has spilled over to include the Republicans. They want his head. They want him dead. The BLM movement has almost disappeared but the violent Antifa protests, demonstrations, and riots have replaced them. I'm not talking about some rare nut job or rare repugnant display. Anti Trump violence has swept the nation. It started before he was even elected. Yes there were a few brawls at Trump rallies, but there were countless examples of beatings and brawling of individual Trump supporters across the country.
Again.....it's now mainstream, supported by political foes, Hollywood, celebrities and entertainers, and the overwhelming majority of print and TV media. That's the difference. |

There's a huge difference in individuals voicing there opinions then having high profile elected officials voicing their's against our President. Can you imagine if the minority leaders of the House and Senate had said the things that Pelosi spews all the time? There are two sets of rules for liberals and it is getting real old. |

You're the one who swallows sh!t Norma. You swallow every line spewed by the liberal MSM and regurgitate it every chance you get.
You resort to name calling...calling me a Nazi, for instance. You call Trump supporters "racist".....another liberal Democrat tactic.
Go back and read all your posts over the last year. It's all there for everyone to see. |
