We're stopping in Grand Island NE going east towards Omaha. Anyone know of a layover place with horses and is there anything super fun for kids in the Omaha area?
The Omaha Zoo is one of the best in the US! Fonner Park has an outdoor arena with pens, I would google to see if they are open. Buffalo County Fairgrounds in Kearney has pens and plug ins. Lazy K arena in Grand Island is just off the interstate, they have a website you can google to get their number, it would be a safe place to keep horses.
