I ordered my saddle the later part of April and have an 8-10 week wait....
I ordered a production Teskey Barrel Saddle with a Hadlock and Fox tree, fully tooled with grey suede stitched seat, close contact stirrups, hamley twisted fenders, and aluminum stirrups with grippers. I also had my name put on the cantle binding overlay. Antiqued finish.
I am so excited I can't stand it! It's been a very long time since I've had a brand new saddle. The price was right and the time was right so I pulled the trigger.

Anyone else becoming impatient for their new saddle? Anyone have pictures of the saddle you ordered? Anyone drooling over a new saddle and want to describe it to me? I love hearing everyone's idea of their own perfect saddle.

I got my new one a few months ago after ordering it late last fall. It is made by BF Smith in Arkansas. I LOVE this saddle and how it rides.

I ordered in February and got it three weeks ago. Have not been able to ride in it though, due to horse being at the trainers. Martin BTR. I hope it rides as good as it looks.

I have a roo hide on order.  I put a deposit down over 2 months ago.  At that time we had several  emails back and forth discussing design but I have heard zilch since then.   Emails are not returned, I called last week and spoke with someone who said John had been sick and they got behind and please send another email.   I sent it, again unanswered, I left a voicemail on Tuesday saying I understand getting behind but I don't understand the lack of communication and that is not the type of customer service I expected from them.   No response to voicemail either :(.

That doesn't sound good at all :( I'm sorry you are having a bad experience wiht them. They make a top-notch saddle.....  Not sure it's worth going through all that for tho.

Very pretty. I don't think i've ever seen a corriente with that flat of a seat. is this a barrel saddle or an all around? (has a pretty thick horn is why I ask)  What tree did you request be used in it?
I like the skirt design.

It's on their website CSB 555B...considered one of their "New Style Barrel Saddles".  I didn't request a special tree.

I'll try and post mine... it's not brand new anymore, I've had it since last fall, but I LOVE it. It's a new style Corriente, with the imitation elephant seat. Suede fenders. Whatever standard tree is, it's fit plenty of horses. Highly recommend these saddles.

I really dont know who did the craftmanship work on it I know Jimmy there at the store helped me when I was trying to decide what I wanted, but I'm pretty sure is was not made there in New Braunfels. I think they contract the work out on these saddles. I love love this saddle it feels so freaking good riding in it, but my horse didnt like the feel of the flex tree, he was just to goosey in it I tryed my other Debs on him and same thing I put the Crown C back on him and he was fine so I know he dont like the trees, darn his hide, lol.. I love that they did away with the over ride plates, which is that peice that gos over the cinch area and they widen up the stirrups leathers neck so you can change out the stirrups if you wanted too.
