Dr Mathew Smith af George County veterinary Clinic. It's in Lucedale. Not sure how far that would be. If distance doesn't matter Dr Lee in Atmore Al. He specializes in horses.

For that type exam there are only 3 vets in the state I would go to. Dr. Vice in Jackson, MS. Dr Mochal at Starkville, MS (MSU) or Dr. Akin (Olive Branch area- more of a mobile in the North type vet). This is the one thing you don't want to skimp on. Vice seems to be just a bit more expensive than MSU. MSU gets you more eyes on the issue but might take a bit longer to get an appointment. You can get other vets at MSU but Mochal is my go to.
