Does anyone have any insight on the differences between fit / ride / type of horse between these saddles? I am selling one of mine and doing research on these, but not finding a lot of info on some of them.
I would like some personal reviews of people that have tried more than one or all of these!
They all look similar....I am interested too.....would like info on the trees used. C3 and Tami's both made by Jeff Smith and I "heard" Woodys is using same trees as Jeff Smith.... I have seen some Usher brand saddles that look great too!
I ordered a c3 and it should be here tomorrow so I'll have more to say once I get it, however they were awesome to work with and answered all of my questions. I'm sure they would be happy to help you.
I really like the way Jeff Smith saddles look. Ive been keeping up with the C3 which is a line produced by Jeffs 16-17 yo daughter. A lot of people love them but I have heard bad things about their customer service if you dont like it.
I was pleased with the customer service I received from Jeff Smith. I custom ordered a C3 and when it arrived, the fenders were too long for me. I took it back and they had the fenders replaced and shipped back to me in a little over a week. Because the saddle had never been on a horse, it did not cost me anything to switch out the fenders.
I haven't gotten to ride in the C3 I ordered yet because the fenders were too long. I did take both my horses to Jeff Smith and put a C3 on them to demo and rode around in it. For ME, my Martin was a slightly better seat because it had more padding and the C3 is a hard seat (personal preference). But the C3 fit both of my horses so well, I bought it for them. The C3 is supposed to be on the lighter side for weight, but mine weighed as much as my Martin.
