| I recently (maybe 2 months ago) switched mine to Merrick Whole Earth Farms Grain-Free. I'm feeding the pork, beef, & lamb in the all breed, all stages formula.. so far, so good! My picky dog actually likes it and eats good, but a bag lasts her quite a long time. |

Location: Where the buffalo roam | Dog food advisor has ratings on dog foods based on ingredients. I feed Petcurean Brand - the canned goes by the name of GO, but I can't remember what their dry food is. Taste of the Wild made my youngest dog ill so I quit feeding it. |

Location: California | My pup right now gets Orijen puppy. I really liked all the ingredients listed, and my puppy loves it. I do have to have it shipped because no one carries it around here. She also really liked the Diamond Naturals Small Breed Puppy formula. I got that one for her when I forgot to have the other shipped in time. She's a toy aussie and the diamond naturals is way cheaper with a super small kibble.
I also did a lot of research on Dogfoodadvisor.com |

I will keep them on it until I see an issue.
I have already been through Purina, Diamond, and local higher quality dog food carried by the feed store. All of them gave my dogs very loose stools about the 3rd bag in.
I have not had any issues with TOTW. |

Ol' Roy High performance. We tried the high dollar stuff and this is the only thing that works with his issues.
My husband feeds Ol Roy to all of his working dogs.
Edit...My little dog wasn't eating Ol Roy, realized it could sound that way. She is pretty much a rescue case that her allergies had been ignored by previous owner.
My little inside child came to me with horrible skin issues. Vet put her on Science Diet and I bought 2 bags before I swapped. It was $30 for a bag that lasted her like 2 months. And her skin didn't improve much.
I swapped her to Taste of the Wild and fed that for 3-4 months and she did improve some. I got tired of driving an hour to get it, or running out and not being able to get it.
I was looking at Walmart a while back and notice a grain free brand, Pure Balance and tried it.
We're on our 3rd bag and her skin is actually HEALING. It's cheap, she eats it, and her skin is looking better by the day. She is missing some teeth so I wet it with just a few drops to take the "crunch" away and she loves it.

so what is going on with TOTW?
I think they had a bad batch last winter that was sold into early spring. Too many issues all at once with dogs that had eaten it for years for it to have been nothing. |

Location: Pacific Northwest | TOTW. or the grain free Diamond. For my lab that had issues TOTW was what worked for her.
I used to work at TSC and 4Health was the top seller. Ingredient wise it's a good food.
ETA my cat also eats TOTW. She was on 4Health when I worked at TSC but it's out of my way to go to one now.

Location: WA | I LOVE Orijen. It's expensive, but I've done TONS of research after my dog had cancer and it is one of the best dog foods out there. If you don't like the price you can go to little lower protein food called Acana which is very similar in ingredients just a little cheaper because of lower protein%.
Diamond dog food always gets recalled so I won't touch anything diamond. (TOTW is a Diamond product). I used to buy Merrick, but then it got bought out by Purina. Just because its grain free doesn't mean it's good!
My current dog is a rescue with terrible stomach issues and food allergies so we have to feed her Royal Canin hydrolyzed protein (soy protein). I feel terrible giving it to her because it's not the best as far as what dogs should actually be getting, but it seems to work for her!

My dogs are also fat and sassy on Purina One. I'm trying to pamper a very old dog with a collapsing trachea and bought him a 2.20 can of Blue Buffalo. Wouldn't touch it. Bought a 2.00 container of Rachel Ray Nutrish. Meat and vegetables. He loved it. Life with aging and failing pets is not easy. |

| I feed Diamond Naturals to both my dogs and cats and everyone seems to be doing great! I have fed it for years and feel like it's the best quality for "ballin on a budget" when wanting to feed a good food. I also like canidae, but it's hard to find around here sadly. |

| i feed diamond naturals to my cats and dogs. but after two of them have allergies i decided to go to grain free and now all 5 are on grain free. They look more shiney and picked up weight. The allergies/itching all went away after changing to grain free. and the vet tried to tell me that the number one cause of allergies is the protein... ummm yeah whatever lol |

Muenster Milling is a family owned business about an hour from our house. They are also sold in more local stores. Owner ate only their dog food for 30 days and did little videos. He kept up doctor visits to analyze his health. Pretty funny - he made the news - tv and radio....And was very healthy at the end of the 30 days. They also make horse feed...and supplements, but I've only bought their horse treats, so far. Horses love them. |

(He still picks the deer out first of course!!) They also get Forco and Platinum CJ.

| I feed Purina ProPlan for small dogs. I had a lab who had issues with getting yeast infections in his ears. Found out the previous food we were feeding (which I don't even know what it was it's been so long) was way too "hot" for him with the corn base. Fed him a mill mixed dog food out of Mexico, MO, called Hunters Blend for awhile because we also had 6 coyote hounds and it was cheap. He had no issues with that stuff either. But when we reduced hounds, we switched to ProPlan on vets recommendation and was easier to get locally. He had no issues with the ProPlan either. Now I have 2 rat terriers and they do just fine on the ProPlan. |

| Well now I have been worried that kibble (although I feed Royal Canin) is made in China! I think a lot of the kibble is made in China and people need to pay attention to that. Anyhoo with that being said I just put my dog on THE FARMERS DOG. Human grade food, made fresh and shipped weekly. So far it has been awesome. We just lost our Lab so now it is just our two English Bulldogs on it. Like I said it is human food so you could eat it if you want. They make each serving specifically formulated to your dog. You fill out a questioner to determine amount and ingredients for each dog. They love it and look amazing.
