Looking to purchase a set or two or perhaps all 4 for a horse with some navicular - the soft rides are fairly heavy - which did you prefer?

We used soft rides at the clinic I used to work at, but, for the $$ I love the Easyboot RX or cloud.   Fit well and not as awkard.   And lighter!

Bumping this up as I'm looking too.  Any more opinions on the two boots?  Thank you.

I have both and here is why:

I originally purchased the Clouds, due to weight and price. However, the mare that needed them the most is a HEAVY gal and I didn't think the inserts held up well enough for her weight (she had them broke down in a few wears). So, I got soft rides for her with specific inserts for heavier horses; perfect. So, I use the Clouds on my smaller, lighter mare and they work great for her.

Just a couple things to think about.

I have only pulled a cloud boot out of the box in a store and pushed on the insole and put it right back in the box and left it on the shelf.   I can see them working for hauling to rodeos and races but if you really haul long hours or need them for a horse needing support i would say they are not good for that.   They are flat, cheap ( to me) and hard insoles. Nothing compared to the insoles of the soft rides which you can order theraputic ones for different needs. So for me, id rather spend the $ on softrides which i already know are worth the $ and are shock absorbing for my horses on long hauls or long term standing on hard ground.
