Adequan users...do you continue to feed a feed through joint supplement if you're using adequan or did you feel just the adequan is enough? I know most feed throughs they don't absorb anyway, so I was looking for advice on what you've done. Thanks!
I never used to use a feed through. Only adequan or other inject able. HOWEVER I started a 3 year old on ACTIFLEX 4000 and saw such a positive difference I continued it on all my horses even though they are all on adequan. I do 2 full adequan series a year.
I use Adequan plus MVP Exceed 6Way which also covers joints...I really use it for the gut, coat, hoof health, vascular, etc...the joint part is just an added bonus for me. My horses have done really well on it.
I use Adequan and Platinum Performance CJ. Neither of my two horses are showing any issues, but I know the CJ works because I give it to my dog. He has really bad arthritis in his right shoulder. It was getting to the point where he was limping all of the time and when he would get up after lying down he would hold it up and could hardly walk. I started giving him my horse's CJ and he hasn't limped in a year. My husband calls it his "go go juice"...lol.
